Utah Test and Training Range Buffer Areas

The Air Force and the Bureau of Land Management have identified eight areas — amounting to 703,621 acres — in Utah's West Desert near the Utah Test and Training Range that will be closed to the public as "buffer zones" as the military tests new "hypersonic" weapons.
