Utah lowered its blood-alcohol content for driving under the influence from 0.08 percent to 0.05 percent, the first state in the country to adopt the tougher limit. The law, which doesn’t take effect until Dec. 30, is supported by the majority of Utahns, according to a new poll.
Source: Dan Jones & Associates talked to 803 registered Utah voters from Jan. 15 to 18. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 3.5 percentage points.
