Utahns want campus trustees to hire college presidents

A new poll shows majority support for a bill that would shift the responsibility to hire college and university presidents to campus boards of trustees and away from the state's Board of Regents.

Q: Would you support or oppose a proposal to change who hires a new president for a university or college, shifting that responsibility from a state board overseeing higher education, known as the Regents, to each institution’s board of trustees?
