Data definitions: Data provided by the Utah Department of Transportation, using information from weekdays (without holidays) from Jan. 2022 through May 2026. Peak traffic times typically run from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the mornings, while peak traffic times in the evening go from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Active days means the amount of days UDOT observed the bottleneck during this period, while average duration is the amount of minutes the bottleneck was observed.
Average vehicle-hour delay is the total amount extra time the bottleneck delayed drivers. For example, if 1000 drivers experience 30 minutes of delay due to the bottleneck, the total delay would be 30,000 minutes - or 500 vehicle-hours.
